The Vesper Lights flicker and glow

As my Evening Prayer lift to you

Thankful for the wonder of your creation

I simply stand in awe, O Lord

  
My prayer is simple, O Lord

May your children put down their swords

May your children lay aside their hatred

May your children let go of bigotry

May ALL your children embrace Your peace
