Tonight, O Lord, the Vesper Lights flicker 

Surrounded by the majesty of your creation 

I lift my prayers to you

Prayers for comfort

Prayers for healing

Prayers for wholeness

Prayers for cooperation

Prayers for peace

The needs in this world overwhelm

Yet your love, O Lord, overcomes

As I lift this evening prayer to you

I simply ask that I may be

An instrument of your healing 

An instrument of your comfort

An instrument of your peace

Lord, in your mercy, hear my prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
