We are in Nebraska for a wedding tomorrow. Two dear friends we have met via the blogging world and, of course, God… Visited Ogallala, Nebraska’s “Boot Hill”Cemetery and saw this incredible sculpture of a cowboy representing this area’s early history.

You look into the distance, what do you see?

As the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

I too look into the future

What do I see?

Thankful for new friends and old

Thankful for opportunities to serve

I look to the ‘morrow

When we celebrate the joining of two lives

When we celebrate a love you have blessed

When family and friends gather around

To support, love, and encourage Robert & Sally

As they exchange their vows, O Lord

We ask your blessing and presence

May all of us look to a future with hope

A future with your Justice, Mercy, Kindness

May their love be your love

Reaching out into the life of this world

And may their prayer be ours lifted to you

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
