Tonight, the Vesper Lights flicker

And I pause at the end of a long day to give thanks

For reunions with dear friends

For new friendships begun

For opportunities to share your love

For opportunities to share your light

For these and countless opportunities

I give you thanks, O Lord

As my heart turns to your creation

My heart with aching cries out

Dona Nobis Pacem
