Evening Prayer – 22 March 2016

  
John 12:35-36 

Jesus said to them, “The light is with you for a little longer. Walk while you have the light, so that the darkness may not overtake you. If you walk in the darkness, you do not know where you are going. While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become children of light.” After Jesus had said this, he departed and hid from them.

On this Tuesday of Holy Week we pray

Lord, let your light shine in the darkness

As the Vesper Lights flicker we pray

May we be vessels of your light

May we be vessels of your mercy

May we be vessels of your grace

May we be vessels of your peace

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
