Evening Prayer – 19 March 2016

  
Tonight the sun has set

The Vesper Lights are lit

As we prepare for the day of Revolution

The day when Jesus entered Jerusalem

The day he told the powers that be

God alone is in command, not you

If you silence our voices, the very rocks will cry out

On this night, help us to remember

Those who are voiceless

Those who are oppressed

Those who are marginalized

Help us to speak for them

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
