Evening Prayer – 17 March 2016

  
As the snow falls, the Vesper Lights flicker

Thankful for a warm home and hearth

My heart goes out to those for whom

Snow and cold and nowhere to go

The huddled, invisible masses

Have no shelter from the storm

How can we ignore them

How can we walk by our sisters and brothers

Created in the image of God just like me

I lift up my prayer, O Lord

In addition I call out to you

Show me the way to truly be a brother to them

Show me the way to reach out with your love

For my sisters and brothers, Lord hear my prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
