The snow is falling and the sun has set

The Vesper Lights flicker as Evening Prayer begins

For home and hearth and family

I give you thanks, O God

For those who struggle and have no home

I lift my heartfelt prayer 

Help me to be mindful, Lord

Life is not all about me

Help me to live in such a way

That your Love, Justice, & Mercy will shine

For this world engulfed in such darkness and fear

Lord, in your mercy, hear my prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
