The Bible and Metaphors-Taste and See That The Lord Is Good

I was recently introduced to someone as a foodie.  I had never thought of myself in those terms…I am not a food snob by any means but I do love food so I guess, I am a foodie.  One of my favorite things to watch on TV (after Alabama football, Roll Tide!) are cooking shows.  I particularly like the ones where a chef is given a basket of ingredients and they have to prepare a delectable meal with those ingredients.  When smell television is invented, those shows will be even better.  Another hobby of mine is perusing restaurant menus to get ideas of food pairings to spark my own cooking adventures. 

All these things are fun but they lack something, an experiential aspect. The real experience comes when viewing the dish is followed by sampling the dish.  To taste really involves all the senses.
