Evening Prayer – 20 February 2016

  
Murray is a survivor… His two-legged adopted Daddy brought him home from a war zone… He has a new lease on life with a family who loves him and understands him… The home is a veritable menagerie (three dogs & four cats) which we had the honor of feeding and loving tonight while Mommy is in the hospital and Daddy is on his way back home. Family, Friends, Survivors… Bonds we share ❤️

Lord, the night is late

The Vesper Lights flicker and dance

We are reminded of the fragility of life

We are reminded of the strength that comes from deep within

As our prayers lift to you this night

For all who are in need of your healing

For all who need a home where love reigns

For all who need grace, mercy, understanding, peace…

Lord in your mercy, hear my prayer for all… Known to me and known only to you…
