Back up the mountain this evening

The Vesper Lights are lit

As my prayers lift like incense to you

Lord, hear my prayer

Two people I love facing difficult times

The ravages of PTSD and life struggles 

The cumulative effects of the horrors of war

Absorbing so much that it overwhelms

For the ones I know and love

For the ones I don’t know and yet love

Lord, in your mercy, hear my prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem
