Dona Nobis Pacem, Evening Prayer, Lenten Worship, Love, Mercy, peace, Presbyterian Community Church of the Rockies, St Agatha's Episcopal Church DeFuniak Springs, St Bartholomew's Episcopal Church Estes Park, Vesper Lights
Evening Prayer – 17 February 2016

Following our midweek Lenten Worship at Presbyterian Community Church of the Rockies, Denise and I went to a midweek program she had heard about. The program was held at St Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church in Estes Park. It was a return to a discipline that we had in Florida where we went to midweek worship at St Agatha’s Episcopal Church in DeFuniak Springs. It was delightful to “hang out” with our new Episcopal friends. This cross stands at the entrance to St Barts.
Tonight, O Lord, as we remember your love for us
We light the Vesper Lights and lift our prayers to you
Thanksgiving for dear friends whom we remember and miss
Thanksgiving for a new community and new friends and opportunities to serve
Thanksgiving for your love, which picks up broken vessels and uses them for your work
Hear us as we pray, O Lord
Mold us and make us into your instruments
Instruments of your justice
Instruments of your mercy
Instruments of your love
Instruments of your peace
Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer for each other and for this world
Dona Nobis Pacem
Grant Us Peace
A wee prayer from the heart of your tired, yet energized Padre after a full day of ministry, meetings, worship, and fellowship…
