The Bible and Metaphors–the left hand of God

What do I have in common with Aristotle, Winston Churchill, Benjamin Franklin, Mahatma Ghandi, Joan of Arc, Helen Keller, Leonardo Da Vinci, and even Whoopi Goldberg?  I’m a lefty, just like each of them.  Somewhere between 5% – 10% of the population is left handed and scientists still haven’t figured out why.  What I do know is that it is a right handed world.  Perhaps that is why left handed people seem to notice other left handed people and our favorite saying about handedness is that left handed people are in their right brain.  Yes, I admit I can be defensive but did you ever have to explain to a teacher that you were sitting sideways in a desk staring at your neighbor because it’s the only way you could write in the right handed desk?  Ask any lefty, they have!  Society makes…
