Evening Prayer – 12 February 2016

  
Night has fallen and the Vesper Lights are lit

Thankful for a day spent in God’s creation 

As I reflect upon your Wilderness Temptation 

For those I know, for those I don’t know

I pray your shielding and protection

Keep temptation at bay, and strength within

Keep violence away, and peace within

Keep fear away, keep calmness within

Keep hatred out, keep love within

Lord, help us to humbly serve you each day

Lord, help us to look beyond ourselves

Lord, help us to love as you do

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
