Lenten Reflection; Patience and Anger, Feb. 10, 2016
Many years ago my mothering skills were being tested in a big way. One of my sons (I won’t tell you which one, but if you know them I’ll bet you could guess.) and I had come to a point where something had to be done. He was a masterful button pusher and he knew all the buttons that would set me off. We had gotten to a point where something had to give; I had reached my boiling point, I had a short fuse and he seemed to enjoy igniting.
