Evening has come

The Vesper Lights are lit

We come before you, Lord

With our hearts open to hear you

With our spirits seeking your Spirit

In a world filled with violence

In a world filled with hatred and fear

Circle us, Lord

Protect and strengthen us

In this time of darkness and fear

May your light shine in and through us

Circle us, Lord

Surround us with your love

Lord, make us instruments of your peace

Our hearts cry out to you, O Lord

Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
