On this night

As the Vesper Lights are lit

As our Evening Prayers ascend

We come before you, Lord

For a world in pain

For a world where violence is routine

For a world where isolation is commonplace

Let your light shine, O Lord

The light of comfort

The light of peace

The light of community

For this world and for our community

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
