The Eve before Christmas Eve… AKA Christmas Adam!

Family is here, travelers are safe

Tomorrow is worship to remember the birth

Help us, Lord, this night

As the Vesper lights flicker

As the fireplace glows

To remember reason we gather

Not for darkness or despair

Not for hatred or division

To celebrate the birth of the One

Who breaks down barriers

Who loves radically

Who forgives extravagantly

For those who suffer this night

For those who live in turmoil and fear

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer 

Grant us your peace which passes all understanding

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
