The Vesper lights are lit

And I look to the mountains

From where will my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord

The one who created heaven and earth

We come before you, Lord

With hearts filled with longing

Longing for your grace

Longing for your mercy

Longing for your peace

As we lift up the needs of this world

A world torn apart by violence

A world torn apart by hatred and bigotry

A word torn apart by selfishness

As we lift our Evening Prayers for this world

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
