Evening Prayer – 10 December 2015

  
When you live in a place where God is so evident

Evident in the wonders all around you

Evident in the creation surrounding you

In the Elk, the Deer, the Rocky Mountain Sheep

Even in the familiar friend, this Mallard Duck

It is sometimes easy to forget

In parts of this world, people suffer

Creation and creature suffer

Warfare is far too common a daily occurrence

Violence is an every day fact of life

Lord, help me not to be complacent

Lord, help me to be mindful of those who suffer

Lord, help me to be Your instrument of healing

Your instrument of reconciliation

Your instrument of peace, justice, and kindness

Lord, in your mercy, hear my prayer 

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
A wee prayer from the heart of your Padre after a full day of ministry and fellowship with friends we know and friends we made this night… Thank you, Lord, for your blessings!
