Evening Prayer – 9 December 2015

  
The sun has set and the Vesper lights are lit

I am thankful for so many blessings in my life

Yet in the midst of that thankfulness

I remember those who struggle each day

Those who struggle with violence in their lives

Those who struggle with health concerns

Those who struggle in the valley of the shadow of death

Those who struggle with the overpowering ugliness in the world… Politics, Religion, and on and on

Lord, in your mercy, hear my prayer for this world

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
A wee prayer from the heart of your Padre as he contemplates love, life, blessings, struggles, and his neighbors all around the world…
