Evening Prayer – 30 November 2015

  
Driving to the VA Clinic in Fort Collins we saw these Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep licking the salt off of the road! 

  
Then tonight as we decorated the church for Advent & Christmas (Hanging of the Greens), we saw this Bobcat (sitting in front of the left side of the tree) about ten yards from the fellowship hall side door! 

These creatures reminded me that we live in a place of wonder where you can see God’s presence and handiwork if you slow down and open your eyes and heart.

Lord, thank you for the reminders you give us

Reminders of your presence even in the messiness of this world

Reminders of the love you have for us

Reminders of your peaceable kingdom hope

Reminders of your grace, mercy, and peace

Dona Nobis Pacem
