Evening Prayer – 24 November 2015

  
The week of Thanksgiving is here

For many there is much to be thankful for

Yet in the midst of our festivities

Help us to remember, O Lord

The ones who will go hungry

The ones who lack shelter

The ones who are sick and suffering

The ones who are often invisible

Help us, to not only remember

Help us to reach out and welcome

The invisible

The hurting

The homeless

The lonely

The outcast

The refugee 

May we share the love of God in a tangible way

May we share Christ with them

May we see Christ in them

Help us, Lord, in a very real way

To do justice

To love kindness

To walk humbly with them and with you

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
