Evening Prayer – 19 November 2015

  
Darkness has descended

Yet the sparkling Christmas lights are lit

Reminding me of the Psalmist’s promise

Even darkness isn’t too dark for you (Ps 139:12)

So Lord, even in the darkest of times

Even in the darkest of places

Let your light and love shine through

May those who suffer be comforted

May those who are lost find guidance

Lighten this darkness, Lord

As we light the Vesper lights 

May you light up our lives

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
