Today was a day for conclusions

Today was a day for Holy Communion

Today is also a day to mourn

We celebrate time on Ignatian retreat

We celebrate time at your table, Lord

Yet in the midst of this we mourn

For our French sisters and brothers

For all victims of terror and violence

Lord, words fail…

Lord, hearts break…

Lord, what can I say? 

Lord, what can I pray?

Heartbroken for her more victims of violence…
