Evening Prayer – 6 November 2015

  
As I look at the ice on the river

I am reminded how harsh the world can be

I think of friends who are suffering

I think of heartbreak, anger, fear…

Yet I also see the river flowing still

And that reminds me of your presence, Lord

That your grace still flows freely

Bless, O Lord, those who suffer

Guide them through the storm

May they know your love, grace, mercy
