After a full day of work and ministry, tonight has been a time of study as we prepare for our class on Ignatian Spirituality at Columbia Seminary next week…

With the setting of the sun

With the lighting of the Vesper lights

We give you thanks, O God

Thank you for your presence in our midst

Thank you for your comfort for those who mourn

Thank you for your guidance along life’s road

May this night bring blessed and peaceful sleep

So that we may arise refreshed and renewed

Lord, watch over those who mourn

Lord, guide those who are perplexed

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
