Lord, with the setting of the sun

With the lighting of the vesper lights

I am reminded of your blessings

As I look around the world I realize

How profoundly fortunate I am

Food on the table lovingly prepared

A roof over my head

A comfortable bed to sleep in

A job that I love

A community of faith and family

For these and countless other gifts

I give you thanks and praise
Help me to be mindful of those who

Have no home, bed, food, family

Help me to be their family

Help me to share my bounty with them

Help me to live like you, Jesus
