Even though the night be dark

Even though the hearth be cold

You are present in our midst

Your love warms the heart which seeks you

Help us to share that warmth

Help us to be your love

Help us to be your light

What a gift you give us, O Lord

May we faithfully be your witness

May we share your peace

May we share your love

May we be present to others
