VIEW FROM A WINDOW

From the serving line

I look to the window

A small opening, really

Above the doorway

A ventilation flap

Looking to the hill

A pathway leads up

To a view of the sea

It looks so inviting

This place on the hill

While I serve workers

Their evening meal

The thought, the view

Mesmerizing

If I climb that hill

Can I touch the sky?

  
Looking out the window from our dining room table just now, I was reminded of the photo and poem from 15 years ago… 

Truly an amazing God moment!
