Sometimes, Lord, I need to slow down

Slow down to savor the wonders you reveal

Slow down to see the majesty of your creation

Slow down to simply be still and know
Lord, despite the busyness of the day

Thank you for evening drives

For sunsets and magnificent fawns

For reminders of your grace, mercy, and peace
Thank you, Lord, for this precious moment
