Evening Prayer – 26 July 2015

When you don’t know what to say

When you are tired and worn down

When your prayers are groans too deep for words

In those moments you come to the Lord

You come just as you are

You come wounded and weary

You come…

In those times, God speaks in the silence

God speaks to the hearts that are open

Open your heart to receive God’s grace

Open your Spirit to become overwhelmed by God’s mercy

Lord, in such times, spread your healing balm

Lord, in such times, comfort and console

Lord, in such times, grant us your peace

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace

A wee prayer from the Padre for those who are hurting and alone this night… from your lips to God’s ear, let us pray
