With the setting of the sun

At the end of a full day

We give you thanks, O God
With the colors splashing across the sky

As a miraculous reminder of your glory

We give you thanks, O God
With the ending of this day

As we reflect upon the day that is past

We give you thanks, O God
With the coming of the night

As we seek your gracious presence

We give you thanks, O God
With a calmness in our heart

As we close our eyes to sleep

We give you thanks, O God
Dona Nobis Pacem
