 Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer
African American churches are burned down this week

Yet we are told there isn’t a race problem in this country

ISIS brutally kills Gay men on the day Marriage Equality for all is decreed by SCOTUS

Yet we are called infidels…

Help us to pray for those filled with ignorance and hate

Help us to be Christ to those who are consumed by hate

Help us to be Christ and stand with those who are brutalized and victimized because of the color of their skin or their sexual orientation

Help us, O God, to be your love

Help us, O God, to be your peace

Help us, O God, to be your mercy

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer
